Frequently Asked Questions. Q 1. How difficult is it for my customers to use webbooker? A. Very easy, and intuitive, a customer simply selects the activity they want to book and the date and time. Once a timeslot for the activity is selected, a customer is taken through to the checkout pages Q 2 . How difficult is it for me to use webbooker? Q 5. I have different opening hours at weekends – can appointment timeslots on the booking system reflect this?
Q 6. How does a customer get told a booking is confirmed, and how would I know? A A customer receives a confirmation e-mail and one is sent to you as well. Some businesses have asked for confirmation by fax as an option – this is also possible but it does incur a small extra cost. If a customer books your services with a mobile device, they will receive an SMS text message. Q 7. Will I have my own account? A Yes, every business operating its bookings with us has its own user name, account and password. This gives the owner of the business full access to his activities, schedules and diaries at all times. Q 8. I own holiday cottages that I let. I market these on various short stay or holiday let websites that pass contacts onto my own website. Will this booking facility still work? A. Yes, your calendar will be instantly updated every time a booking is made. You will be able to offer any type of break duration (schedule) you want, have access to change or put in new schedules in seconds for any dates and take deposits or full payments automatically. Webbooker can sit on your site or the search directory website or both. Q 9. I don’t have an online merchant account – how can I take money for bookings made with my business?
Q 10. How much help will I get setting webbooker up? A Webbooker will provide all of the assistance you need to get you going. You will also have access to online help and ultimately telephone support if required. Please see the T &C’s Q 11. Can I see the bookings that have been made when I am away from the business? A Yes you can. Because Webbooker is an online system, you can see your bookings from anywhere at any time where you have access to the internet and of course your user name and password. Q 12. Do my customers have to register? A Yes, only once and then they will be remembered. Once they are registered they are very easy to find and they will be able to book appointments with any business using this system. Q 13. Can my customers double book? A No, the website is continually updated. Only available bookings are shown to the customer Q 14. How much does it cost? A Webbooker does not have any set up, training or up front costs. Webbooker charges a monthly amount for the service. This can be commission based, flat monthly cost based or a combination of the two. Q 15. So what do I get?
Q 16. Can customers cancel bookings and what are the cancellation charges? A Customers can cancel bookings and the cancellation policy that applies is the one you most likely currently use. This policy will need to go on your website. Webbooker does not charge for cancelled bookings. Q 17. What if I don’t have a website? A. Webbooker works with partner companies that can build you a website that has our full online booking system included. Q 18. Can you handle a branch network? A.
